Ghost Night

Ghost Night began in 2023 as an idea I had for a monthly residency. The concept was to play a set of interpretations by departed artist followed by a set of originals each second Wednesday at Ghost Light in Hamtramck.

I thought it could help improve my craft to study the greats. It became so much more.

Because I’m not one for half-assing, I immersed myself in the artist every month, and learned all that I could about their lives and legacy. The shows began to take off and I was able to invite a team of friends to help create unforgettable evenings.

We build unique set designs for each show, and have a rotating band of Detroit’s best musicians join us each month. By far the best part of it is the kindred community that formed around it.
