Emily Rose is a singer/songwriter, storyteller, and published poet from Detroit, Michigan known for her sensitivity to the written word and intricate guitar work. Since the genesis of her career she has toured nationally, performed the Midwest folk festival circuits, and released four full length albums, and one book.

Songs from her 2011 album ‘Porchlight Tragical’ were placed in PlayStation Four’s Detroit: Become Human as well as the feature film, Welcome to Happiness.

Rose’s latest release is The Parlor Tapes, is a quiet, raw album recorded to four-track in a century old Detroit house. She curates, hosts, and performs “Ghost Night” a celebrated monthly series honoring departed artists each second Wednesday of the month in Hamtramck, Michigan.
